Hi. not to worry. I had a 3.3 GPA but supplemented this with extracurriculars and I also was able to submit a portfolio. I was accepted on nov. 23rd. Don’t sweat it what’s meant to be will be.

@MomAdvisor3 Most people use Facebook (most colleges create “class of __” pages for students to join). Or they try and find incoming freshmen on instagram or twitter. All my friends in college found theirs on facebook or their college provided a matching service where they filled in a questionnaire and were given the emails of people they might be compatible with.
Can somebody tell me what this means … just saw it 2 minutes ago . “1 thing you need to do:
Your application is currently on hold for further review. You will receive an admissions decision by no later than beginning of April.”
I am totally angry . We applied early action for Nursing … What does this mean? My daughter is beside herself no explanation? Was she accepted to the school of public health but not Nursing?

@nglaw1836 usually with that they want to see first semester grades so send when completed. What are your daughter’s stats? On hold is just that, so not admitted to Public Health yet but not denied yet for Nursing either.
Hello! I’m currently a senior in high school and have been keeping track of this thread (temple of course, is my dream school). I have yet been accepted (nor denied or put on hold), but all of my supplement materials have been completed since 10/30… Can someone please estimate when I should be receiving some sort of decision?
@mommek3 … stats are 27 ACT GPA- 3.7-4.0… several EC including hospital volunteer with almost 100 hours , captain of tennis team , honors, dual enrollment… we will call tomorrow … I can’t see how they wouldn’t admit her to School of Public Health…with a hold on the nursing program … awful to make her wait until April…:

S20 (#2) 3.65(uw) GPA 26 ACT applied to nursing accepted to public health (undeclared) with a $3,000/year scholarship on 12/10. The letter states that he was waitlisted for nursing and should a spot in the BSN program become available, he will be notified right away. Fingers crossed 
@SAD1010 thanks for the update on your trip to Florida . Will your D stay at the School of Public Health ? My D loves Temple .
