Temple Class of 2023 Thread

@mayaaaad my D has since pulled her app (accepted ED into another school), but she applied the very beginning of September and hadn’t heard before her ED acceptance on December 14th- and she’s been told by Temple that it would probably be another month.

so I just checked my daughters portal, and the left side says "Admitted. Application 1: University Acceptance. Your application has been accepted. Please checks next steps. However, Next steps still says your application is complete and awaiting decision. Does this mean she’s in??

I just got accepted I sent my application in at the end of october and I applied test optional and with the temple option

Is there anyone here that applied Early Action that has not recieved a decision. All Early Action students were guarteed a decision by 1/10.

Yes. I am confused. My son’s application was put on hold with decision by April. He applied early action. The website says decision guaranteed by Jan 10 with early action. Is on hold really a decision? I would think a decision means admitted or not admitted.

After reading further, colleges can put applications on hold as an early action response. That is just hard when he applied end of the summer.

On hold iis waitlisted. That’s a decision.

Yes… but not your final decision which should come before April according to portal.

Just got an exceptance for Regular Decision - Rolling Admission. The portal has been updated, but there is no letter attached yet. Thought this would be helpful for anyone waiting for Regular Decision. College of Public Health.

I received the $14,000/year Dean’s Scholarship and I’m not quite sure if I got into the Honors College (is there a separate notification for that?)

I heard that Honors students are guaranteed Provost or Presidential Scholarships. Anyone know if that’s true?

When did you guys apply?

My D applied on 10/29 and was accepted to Fox (1/9), Provost Scholar (1/9), Honors Program (1/9), and Fox Honors (1/15). 1460 SAT, 3.9 gpa, 7+ AP’S. These stats would have been Presidents Scholarship in past years but looks like 2019 is a very competitive year. I have a junior D in Fox and she loves it. Congrats to all who received a merit scholarship, and who were admitted for that matter. Looking forward to Experience Temple Day!

@intricuit My son was offered a spot in the Honors college. He also received a merit scholarship of $14,000 per year.

@naomig27 My daughter applied 10/29 and was admitted on 11/26. Honors program on 1/15.
