I am having trouble figuring out the program offerings at Temple University. I see a BA in Theater w/a concentration in MT I believe. But then I see a reference in that description to audition, but I don't see audition information. Is this for after you are enrolled at the school?

So beyond that any other info about Temple's Theater & possibly MT program? I didn't find much info on the Temple section here.

My understanding is that an audition is required for admission to the BA - Musical Theatre program, and that the BA – Theatre program does not currently require an audition.

When they say on the MT admissions page that student must be accepted to the university to be accepted into the MT program, I read that to mean that a highly talented applicant to the program may not be accepted if they are not also a competitive and admitted academic applicant for Temple. However, it does not state a prospective student needs to be admitted academically BEFORE auditioning. I suggest contacting the program at the email address or phone number provided: Nancy Boykin at 215-204-1428 or nboykin@temple.edu I am sure they would be happy to answer any questions you may have.

I have heard only great things about the programs at Temple!
