HELP! Temple or Rutgers New Brunswick? I'm a New Jersey resident, so rutgers would be cheaper, but my parents would pay tuition for either school. Also, not too crazy about going to school with half my graduating class at rutgers.. ive heard theyre similar, I need help!!

Unless Rutgers’ academic offerings are much less suitable for you, go there to take the cheaper cost. Rutgers is big enough that you should not be seeing your high school people all the time.

What is your major?

Skyzord, I got into business school at temple and SAS at rutgers

Rutgers is the better school and its in-state. So no need to go out of state.

A lot of it depends on what you want to study. I also think that Rutgers is better than Temple for business but I see you got into the liberal arts school at Rutgers and the business school at Temple. If you want a liberal arts degree, go to Rutgers. If you want business, I’d call Rutgers and see if you can switch into the business school at Rutgers now or when you get there. If it is not an easy transfer and you do want business, I guess Temple becomes the better option.

Rutgers is big enough so I wouldn’t worry about seeing people from HS – there will be tons of new people to meet.

Right now it seems like you would be continuing your HS experience at Rutgers, but you will be surprised how little you will run into your friends once you get there. For the most part, you will need to make a concerted effort to stay in touch with HS friends. Go to Rutgers.

Rutgers. This is a no brainer.

why not go to a school like butler university? a little further away, 1 /2 of your class from NJ will not be attending and it is in area 500x better than temple. amongst other things I would broaden your choices to more than just rutgers and temple. (IMO)
