Is anyone else still waiting? I applied 4 months ago
My daughter applied back in October and is still waiting. She made the mistake of not checking the Early Admission option, which we assumed meant it would be binding but apparently not the case at Temple. So now we’re waiting. She did confirm with the admissions dept via email early last month that they had all the needed info.
She’s already been accepted to Pitt and some others but if Temple provides some merit aid then it will probably be her first choice. Pitt unfortunately awarded no merit aid : (
For the future (if you have more kids), EA is not binding, ED is (one of my daughter’s friends mixed them up and chose ED when she wanted EA, oops).
My financial portal just updated, and now it says that I need to submit the Federal Financial Aid Terms & Conditions: Undergraduates. When I click the link, though, I’m redirected to a tab where I can’t seem to submit anything.
I’m having the same issue. It only gives me the option to submit.
Same. Guessing we’ll get a letter of some sort today and/ or they’ll add the 2021-2022 year on the drop down menu.
Seems like they’ve added the 2021-2022 aid year to the list of options, but the page still doesn’t work.
For those who have received a decision approximately how long did it take? My D applied in the end of Dec and still has not received any decision.
i have received my financial aid offer, you just have to click view your current aid offer
found it. thanks!
how do you do that?
AH disregard i just found it
We submitted apps just after thanksgiving, found out just before Christmas
Does Temple give out financial aid or reduction in tuition from their end? I only see financial aid from state and federal government.
Same here. She submitted 12/1 I believe and heard about merit and admission and etc right before Christmas. We’re waiting on the financial aid package but she’s a music major and the merit for music comes later. Is there anyone on here who has received music merit already? Just curious. Good luck to everyone.
They give out scholarships not sure about grants. My sons scholarship shows In his package along with his 5500.00 loan.
Does anyone know what the section ‘your Estimated Balance Due After Gift Aid’ represents? What does it mean your value is positive? Does it indicate that you have to pay or do you receive money in return? Any feedback would help! Thanks!
That is how much you pay. Under that should show your loan amount, if you have that then subtract that and that how much you pay.
If I haven’t heard back yet are my chances for merit very slim?
My son is not into design or communications, but if he was, after interfacing with the TU portal these past couple of months, I’d strongly suggest he go elsewhere it’s really a difficult and unattractive sight to navigate.
It seems that with 30,000 students they could find one who would do a better job.
