I see that Temple offers a full tuition scholarship that requires CR+M SAT of >= 1420 plus a 3.8 GPA. Can anyone tell me from experience whether the requirement is for weighted GPA or unweighted GPA?

It’s weighted according to their formula. Our son took all honors and AP courses and wasn’t bumped up very far. He had a 3.95 according to his school’s formula, but under 3.6 by Temple’s

Thanks very much… I see where they look at core courses only. Did your son get the next level…Provost’s?

Nope, he got Dean’s despite a 1460 M+CR on the SAT. I suspect the increase in applications this year had an effect, as did a few D’s on his transcript.
