So I'll be attending Temple University (YAY!) this Fall. My room is located in Peabody hall and I was just wondering what the showers are like? Mainly, are their curtains or doors on each stall? -Crosses my fingers- I'm really shy and I wouldn't feel comfortable being naked around anyone. So can people who have seen the showers in Peabody hall tell me what it's like? Thanks!

I’ve never been in Peabody, but it’s probably similar to most community showers. I’d assume they have doors for each shower. It’s really not something to worry about, I assure you.

Anyway, welcome to Temple. Where are you coming from?

Thanks, that really helps and it makes me feel better. I’m coming from the Middle East- really excited about being back in the States. I’ve only been in California so this would be a great change. Thanks for your help!

I lived in Peabody my freshman year. The shower stalls have curtains, but, unless things have changed, they are just barely wide enough to cover the stall.

What the concerned people did was just take a stall in the corner where no one would see you anyway.

You’re definitely going to want flip-flops.

I am staying at the Edge so I get my own bathroom, but I would think that it wouldn’t be to bad. They should be like the ones you had at orientation at Johnson I would have to think.
