Temporary for how long?

Yeah, I got one of those temporary resident assignments at Morewood E-Tower. Exactly how long do they mean by "temporary?" As in, how long do I stay there before I get my "real" room?

Yeah I got the same and was wondering the same thing. They say they guarantee you a place before the end of the semester but they also say that usually it won’t take that long. If I were to guess I’d say say anywhere from 2-3 weeks.

I heard that our permanent place will be in an upper-classmen dorm, which I don’t really like. Freshmen should stay in freshmen dorms. Oh well…

Well, it’s a bit random. I had a temporary roommate during the fall semester, and he stayed with my room for the entire semester before he was required to move to different housing. If you like your roommates and they don’t mind the space you take up, they can attempt to lobby housing into letting you stay (it’s just a simple form, actually). Of course, different dorms might have different policies, but this is my anecdote for you.

I think you got lucky.
As close to instructional buildings, Student Center, food, and athletic facilities. With other freshman but in an desirable upperclassman dorm.
