"Ten ways to get away with rape" flier found posted in Miami Ohio bathroom

Wow, the cc timestamp is off again. The forum page says the last post is Hunt’s (#91) from 2 days ago, so this thread was on pg 2.

I was trying to post this earlier today, but it was posted way out of order:

Mr. Gmoser should ask for a refund of whatever he paid for his ConLaw class.

There are exceptions to the protection of speech against government action–but this case doesn’t fall into any of them, and any competent lawyer realizes this. It’s not even a close case.

there’s also at least one “this american life” based on this idea

you can google for more

I doubt anyone keeps statistics on police calls / harassment by specific reason.

but one in four?!?!?!?! that would make rape the most common crime ever, and require a national effort of the highest priority to stop this issue, and females everywhere would alter their behavior to protect themselves. but none of that happens. Is there ANY crime in the U.S. that approaches such a victimization rate?

the 1 in 4 thing hits a little close to home for me, b/c there were many rape accusations thrown around during my freshmen year at W&M, and some of the males were punished by the school even with no proof and courts that declined to prosecute.

soccerguy:
you claimed that “it’s more than a rare occurrence, judging by the news.” But you can provide only one link? I found nothing when I searched. If you have evidence that there is some notable frequency of dads being harassed by cops when on the playground with their kids, please provide it.
You claimed it was in the news. Don’t see it.

So in this ONE example, the man and daughter were walking down the street and she was pulling at him trying to pull in another direction, and it looked to others like whe was being abducted. Hardly a justification for why men are not going into the teaching profession.

FYI - opinion article in the Miami Student written by the Butler county prosecuting attorney
[Opinion | Rape flier author given disorderly conduct plea - Opinion - The Miami Student](http://www.miamistudent.net/opinion/opinion-rape-flier-author-given-disorderly-conduct-plea-1.2948855#.UKBaJbQXjWE)

Thanks for the update, bkbmom.

Guess this also clarifies that the flier was indeed written by a young man, contrary to what was suggested.

“The now former student”? Does that mean he was expelled?

I find the prosecutor’s comparison of this lame attempt at humor to inciting the murder of a federal judge questionable, to say the least.
