Tennis and Storage

Hey guys,

2 quick questions:

1) DOES ANYONE play TENNIS AT UCLA??? if so, please respond!!! ( and i dont mean that you could hit the ball)

2) how big of a hardrive do i need? is 120GB enough or should i get the 160GB?

play tennis as in playing on THE tennis team? because I think the team is all recruits I remember someone told me they even recruit from europe...
as for the harddrive I think 120gb would be enough because you can't really download stuff illegally so there is not too much use for so much space...

nah, tennis as in just regular tennis playing, as in you know how to play tennis, im not talkin about being on the team or anything...

and thanks for the tip about the hardrive

Yeah, I played tennis on my hs team but have been out of shape for a while.

As for the hard drive 120 gb's is ridiculous as it is, 160 would be a bit much. Unless of course you download a lot of programs or have a lot of media.

i think tennis is pretty popular at ucla

If you download a lot of things, get the 160 gb, if you don't or rarely do, just get the 120 gb, if you run out of room, just burn stuff to DVDs.

k, thanks 10 char

I play tennis, but I never had anyone to play with at UCLA. That and it seemed like the courts were always full!

Same sentiments about the HD.

i played tennis before i swam...but i do remember the rules and stuff. not good at hand-eye coordination though. does anybody swim/used to swim competitively? (i hope not to go TOO off tangent from this tennis thread)

120 GB is decent. If you run out, delete some of your iTunes library.

Some academic programs take up a bit of space. Autodesk Inventor and all the programs is a couple gigs already, for example.

I want to play tennis, I USED to be good.

i played on my hs team and really want to continue playing.
i'll playyy! i dont really want the freshmen 15 either haha

well, its nice to know that there ARE people who actually play tennis. although i have to confess i cant really swim, unless you call wild splashes swimming.

also if the courts are so full...how are we gonna play tennis???

anyone play badminton? lol

There were some times when the courts were not full. Generally, if you go a little early, you can get a court.

fastMEd - my mom does, if that counts :(.

i know how to play badminton...but im not that good...

i love badminton!! idk if i'm good tho. well in 9th grade gym i was whooping the guys in badminton. now i'm not sure!

I never had a problem finding an open court. Theres a lot of courts but I hear they plan on tearing some up to make room for more buildings or something.

I probably just always went at the wrong time, lol.

uhhh...ucla is under construction, like always...ugghhh, :)
