<p>How good is the team? I've looked at the record and the bios (that are listed) for all of their current players. But is it hard to try to become recruited for the team? etc.</p>

<p>yea, vandy's tennis team is really really good.</p>
<p>women's last year was probably top ten- they beat several tough sec teams and Notre Dame (#2 I think) this past year. the men's team is solid too.</p>
<p>I don't know how one gets recruited, but there are intramurals that a lot of people participate in. It's ladder play.</p>
<p>the men's lost a lot of players because the coach left. however, if you're not in the top 100 nationally for men's, don't even bother. with the women's, top 30 at the very least. you can always try to walk on.</p>
