Is there enough room underneath a dorm room bed to fit a 12.00 x 19.50 x 20.00 in (L x W x H) tennis ball machine?

Will I be able to use a tennis ball machine at the tennis courts at UVa…I’m assuming there are public courts I can use…?

I’m an average player (not D1 by any means) but I still like to play tennis. Are there any tennis players at UVa that aren’t Division 1 players?

1) In old dorms at least, the dorm beds are captain’s beds, with drawers underneath. So no you can’t fit one under there. I don’t know about alderman or hereford.

2) I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to. there are a ton of tennis courts.

3) there is club tennis and you can take tennis classes. the courts always have people on them who aren’t on the tennis team.

Not sure.

Yes, there are outlets between courts, so I would assume that would be possible - assuming that the cord is long enough.

You can always try out for men’s club tennis, which is very competitive.

Thanks for the replies guys. One more question: If I wind up at Old Dorms, do you think I could at least put my ball machine in the closet?

lmao, nice, sneak a tennis ball machine in

and im sure there are players who aren’t D1

Spidey, I have a thought for you. Why not come to college without the ball machine and see how much free time you have to use it before you lug it here and have it eat up half your closet? You can always bring it back after winter break if you find that you have the time and spaced needed to have it.

Also consider the pain in the neck of dragging it to the courts…it seems like something that’s best left at home. You’ll find plenty of partners willing to hit with you.

yeah, i took so much to school and never even had time to look at it. with frats, studying, games, working out, etc, there is not much time. if i want to se a tv show, it is weeks later online. parents loved having to rent the uhaul to take it back. if you stay in the dorm, it changes year to year and then you move it again.
