<p>I also think ARod will win Wimbeldon. Federer and Hewitt are going to give each other a good match and Roddick will swoop in for the victory after the winner of the other match is worn out. Am I the only one who thinks Sharpova is attractive, but not the end all be all to hot women on the planet?</p>

<p>I don't like hewitt. I believe that federer will beat hewitt. also, I think that roddick will lose in straight sets in the finals ( that match with grosjean was too close and spotty). federer does have his off days, but definitely not a wimbledon.</p>
<p>I think Federer will win it to make 3 in a row=). He'll probably cream Hewitt like he did in the Australian Open. That is unless Federer plays like crap like he did against Nadal in the French and wasn't even able to make an inside out forehand go in</p>

<p>Roddick'll give Federer a good match, but in the end, he'll lose...i'd say something like 4-6 or 5-7....there'll be atleast one or 2 tiebreaks....</p>
<p>Federer just knows how to take control of a point....quite unlike many other players.....he can manipulate ball angle VERY well....</p>
<p>Just finished watchign the Venus and Maria match. It was a pretty darn good match, but the screaming by both of them got a little annoying.</p>

<p>Hewitt is a great player, definitely deserves his #2 ranking (he's beat Roddick consistently), but he's absolutely AWFUL against Federer. Gets bagelled frequently. The US Open was one of the worst men's matches I've watched. 6-0 7-6 6-0. So I expect that unless Hewitt has changed considerably, Federer will wipe him out easily.</p>
<p>Roddick should be able to win his semifinal without too much trouble, and if he plays his absolute best, he'll be able to push Federer quite a bit in the final. Last year's Wimbledon final was possibly Roddick's greatest match, and he still lost. But he had his chances, and it was close. I don't think he can beat Federer, but if he can impose his power game, be consistent, get a lot of first serves in, return Federer's serve well, and get up at the net when Federer is on the defense, he'll have a chance.</p>
<p>The only player that could beat Federer on grass would have Roddick's power, Hewitt's speed and energy, and Agassi's precision groundstrokes. Or Pete Sampras in his prime.</p>
<p>it's funny...2 years ago Federer wasn't half as good as he is now...he figured out his game...</p>
<p>the problem with playing Federer is that it's HARD to get him on his defense...he knows how to easily take control of the game...he may not have the power Roddick does, but he can sure as hell get the ball exactly where he wants it 99% of the time...a player can be on a roll, and think they have Federer on the defense, and then he takes control of the game like it's nothing.....he doesn't have a set game...he adapts to who he's playing...Hewitt doesn't have a chance...and Roddick has improved dramatically from his last open....he's more consistent, and doesn't overhit/smack the ball in to the net as much....he's also worked on his placement....he's got the best serve/overhead by far outta all the players out there....but....Federer's a genius..</p>

<p>Yeah, I wanted Sharapova to win Wimbledon. Davenport is the worst female player to watch (and that's saying a hell of a lot) even though she has nice groundstrokes, and neither of the Williams deserve to win anything. Venus is actually okay, she's a little gracious and at least has a bit of humility. Serena is the worst diva in tennis. When she loses, it's because she didn't play well, not because the other player did. I hate her.</p>
<p>The other thing with Federer is that when you watch him, you usually don't see anything remarkable. His return of serve is average and his backhand sometimes knocks the ball into the roof. But even if you somehow miraculously get him to 0-40, he'll serve 3 aces to get up to deuce. It's so hard to break him because you don't get that many chances, and when you do, he doesn't make mistakes and it's easy to choke. Sampras would have found a way to beat him. So would Becker. And Agassi, if his legs were a little younger. But not Roddick, and certainly not Hewitt. Safin at his best would knock out every one of those guys, and at his worst, would run out of rackets to play with.</p>

<p>He will. I think he deserves it more than the other guys. Nadal deserved the French, Safin deserved the Aussie. Federer has played too well to be knocked out of this one.</p>

<p>If she's down a break, her chances are slim.</p>
<p>If Venus plays her best, she can beat Davenport. Davenport will probably be tired from her semifinal. She's usually pretty sluggish, so when she's tired, her sluggishness is just multiplied. If Venus could take out Sharapova in straight sets, she can definitely take out Davenport. I guess I'll be rooting for Venus since she's coming out of a big slump, and she's not as arrogant as Serena.</p>
<p>Venus'll take it...Davenport tires pretty easily, and she's relatively slow...she just has really long legs, whereas Venus and Maria are like little cats...they can get around that court like no other.</p>
<p>It's very very very very difficult to ace Federer...he just knows how to play the game, and how to keep it in his control....he'll take this years title, and i'm wagering he'll end up with the U.S. Open title as well...something tells me he's not quite in his prime though...he's a fantastic player, but I have a feeling that he'll show his true potential in next years grand slams....a Federer v. Sampras in his prime would be a fantastic match....i'd say it'd easily make it to 5 sets</p>
<p>Davenport's gonna beat Mauresmo...she has that 2 game lead, so she's gonna go in there with an iron heart....4 games away from the Finals...I don't think she'll let Mauresmo stop her...</p>
