Tennis recruits

What good schools could a top 150 tennis player with circa 1800 SATS be a fit for?

Pretty broad question. Can you narrow it? Boy or girl? TRN ranking? Year graduating? Location of country?

Boy. No us ranking yet. Italy.

How old is this boy? with circa 1800 sat scores? There are new NCAA requirements for tennis to limit the older foreigners from coming in. Are you aware of this?

Wont be too old. Will at latest be 19 entering freshman year. More likely 18.

ok. He is a boy.

What year? Junior? Senior?

What ranking is the 150? ITf? Is 150 a guess at a TRN ranking?

Does he have a TRN account?

Still trying to help you.

150 a guess base on performance at bolletieri summer camps

I am sorry playing at a tennis academy will not mean anything to a college tennis coach.

They want to see results.

He needs to play ITF’s, if you don’t live in the US.

Or USTA tournaments if you live in this country.

Also, set yourself up with a TRN account, it is free.

And I will give you the same advice I offer all parents.

If you want a scholarship, academics is the way to go.

For boys ( not girls), only 4.5 scholarships are offered on the men’s team, and that is usually split up among the better members of the team. So, little money in tennis scholarships.

Good luck.
