I'd say 50/50
Did you apply early or regular

I really think you will get in unless you screw up your application or something. CMU puts less weight on the writing section so 2060 will not look so bad on the application. Besides, you have 1440 for V+M. If Tepper is your dream school, put a lot of effort into the essay, but if not, move on to other applications.

i think if it's another school u r in..but tepper? 50/50

im sure 730 math is not the best u can do, but the AP math courses should be convincing enough to show your strength in math. otherwise your stats are pretty impressive.

i actually think you have a very good shot!
i was accepted to tepper with lower stats, no crzy AP courses, and no business related ec's at all. if u really like tepper then you should apply, make your essay convincing, u nvr know what's gonna happen unless u apply!
good luck!

I applied ED to tepper and got rejected. My counselor was flabergasted and is experienced with CMU - we send atleast 15 there a year from my school. I tried to, and she eventually got through to the admissions officer (she said she does this maybe once a year when she thinks a part of the application may have been lost etc) that interviewed me. This information may be useful to you.

He said he remembered me perfectly. He said my app. was great, interview went great, and stats were good enough but the reason I didn't get in was basically because I applied to Tepper this year (last year would have probably been different). They let in 1/40 the first round of early decision and he said I'd have been easily admissible to any other school including computer science and I shouldn't have a problem with RD at any other school within CMU. He said this year Tepper is by far the most competitive school, more so than computer science for the first time. Their applicant pool this year so far is significantly larger than last year. He also said because of this, they weren't deferring Tepper kids for the most part - only accept or reject with the option to apply RD to any other school at CMU.

Don't want to scare you - but to others that were rejected from Tepper I hope this makes you feel a little better and if you really do want to go to CMU realize that their suggestion to apply to other schools in the rejection letter is truly genuine.
