I do agree that, at least to some extent, prestigious schools such as wharton, dartmouth, etc. do offer legendary business connections, and most fortune 500 CEO's DO come form these schools, but you must understand my statistics:

3.4ish W GPA
2160 SAT 780 Writing 760 Verbal 620

FBLA
Junior achievers
Class Treasurer 2 Years
SGA Treasurer 1 Year
Mock Trial 2 Years
Debate Team 2 Years

These are not ivy statistics.
If it were a possibility, and I had the opportunity, I might or might not choose Wharton, Dartmouth, etc. over CMU, Babson, and Bentley. But..it's not a possibility.

The question is, CMU or Babson & Bentley? (excuse the insertion of bentley, it was recently added to the 'college wish list')

CMU, whilst prestige-enamored, focuses primarily on the development of corporate leaders. Their entrepreneurship program is overshadowed by the likes of a wharton, babson, bentley, etc. Also, it's MUCH more difficult to get into Tepper than Arthur & Bentley: check cmu's website for applied v. accepted.
Keep in mind that Babson is ranked number 1 OVERALL; i'm sure connections were taken into account when US news & world report conducted the rankings. My research indicates that Babson-esque students are very materialistic; while this is slightly uncharacteristic of myself, it is endurable.

NOTE: CMU is a large school. Babson, by contrast, enrolls just 3200 students TOTAL.

Babson is slightly cheaper. $42,000 beats out over $44,000.

And, then again..BABSON IS...BABSON oh, and I already spent $200 on logo clothing from the online bookstore:)

Thanks for the feedback, send a response! I like to debate with other college and college-bound students; other individuals smart enough to get accepted into world-class colleges!
