Hello,

I'm a current student and I was hoping for some advice on terminating my housing contract. I no longer wish to live on campus and I emailed the housing website and they told me that I could terminate my contract or find a newly admitted student to take it up.

To terminate it, I would have to display a financial reason. My reason would be that my sister just got accepted into the University of Michigan and my family wouldn't be able to contribute as much as we had previously thought. My sister was enrolled at a community college, so there will be no financial aid boost by her joining me here.

Does anybody have any experience, or any opinion on my chances on getting my contract terminated? The housing website states it's typically harder to get a termination based on financial need so that's why I'm asking.

Also, what are my chances that I can get a newly admitted freshman to take up my contract? Anyone know of any freshman wanting to get a single in Bursley?
