Terrible gpa

I have a terrible GPA . I have a weighted 3.0 so far as a freshman and I'm very worried that I won't be able to bring it up in the following years. Is there any way I can get in the 3.7-3.9 range by senior year?

Yes it’s very very possible

This year isn’t even over yet. It’s definitely possible.

What’s your unweighted?

I’m not sure probably 2. Something I know that’s terrible.

It’s possible but are you going to do it? Likeeeeeeeeeee

Hopefully I’ll get through my freshman year w/o having a mental breakdown.

Of course! If you continue to get mostly A’s from now on you can easily get around a 3.8 unweighted, easily 4.0+ weighted.

Thank you !

Skylar-since you are worried about your GPA and want to do better, I think your problem can be fixed. Start looking for a study skills program to go to this summer. Is there a Sylvan Learning Center near you? If not, or if finances are a problem, spend your summer at the library. You can volunteer there one day a week reading to kids-they love it and it will help reading skills )and wont look bad on your EC resume either) then spend a day or two a week reading up on some of the subjects you will study next year. Your school might even let you check out a few textbooks for the summer.

Thank you for your response . My low gpa is due my honors lit class. Obviously I’m not to got at that but I’m hoping I can get an A in the class so I can take honors lit next year. During the summer I might be taking a math course and I also have youth group year round and marching band at the end of the summer but i will try to get extra volunteer hours in. Thanks again!

You are worried about nothing if you think that you have a 2.0 just because of 1 class. You can definitely bring your GPA up and you are probably overreacting. I bet your GPA is much better than you think.
