terrible sat II scores

So I took the sat II with strep throat and needless to say my scores are not so great. I didn't finish any of the sections.
French 620
Spanish 730-really bad considering I'm fluent
lit-670
I am retaking them in Jan. but some schools like stanford have told me they cannot guarantee they will get the new scores on time. None of my schools require SAT II, only recommend them. Should I send my awful scores or just wait? would these scores hurt me if I sent them?

Thank you

Who the heck are you? I wasn’t asking for somebody to make fun of me for actually being legitimately sick on the test day. I hadn’t eaten in 2 days because it hurt to even swallow my spit nor had I slept the night before. I wanted a legitimate answer to see if these scores would actually hurt me or if its better to just send them so they have them.

I suggest you still send the Spanish and Lit scores, and call Stanford after you receive your new score in January to make sure they get your new score (Why not try to take a shot? It’s YOUR future) In your teacher’s recommendation letters you can ask your teacher to explain what resulted your score and how great you are as a student. That should help a bit. Good Luck!

Don’t worry. you can rush your scores to your colleges.

Lol unless you’re a French major I would send the 620

Thank you all for helpful answers.

I would send the scores. They aren’t bad scores. I don’t think they are going to hurt your chances at all. In fact they may help.

Stanford specifically requires all scores from all dates, for SATI and ACT, but does allow score choice for SATII , check their website.

You don’t go to Yale. If you did, you wouldn’t be hanging around a forum for a bunch of nervous 17/18 year old high school students. You would actually be doing things…like I don’t know, doing your chemistry homework

Send Spanish and lit. I’m pretty sure if the school doesn’t require you to send, they aren’t going to penalize you for having bad scores. The only “bad” score is the French one, and really who even cares about that. You’re scores won’t enhance your application, let’s be real. But there’s no harm in sending Spanish and Lit.

OP, I wouldn’t fret too much about SAT II scores. They’re a relatively small part of the overall process, and your numbers aren’t outright abysmal. I’d send Spanish and Lit.
