Test Advice

Can someone advise me as to how to take timed quizzes and tests? I seem to always fail at those because I try to work at my pace and think through the problems (like on physics) but then end up seeing that there's a minute left and I havent answered the last couple questions that I would have otherwise gotten. This always seems to plague me for some reason

Divide the the amount of time you have for the quiz (30 minutes) by the number of questions (15) = 2 minutes per problem. Work on Problem 1. Check your watch. If you’re past time and stuck, star the problem and move onto the next one. Repeat.

I had the exact same problem with the math and science sections of the ACT. I would get near perfect scores on the questions I actually answered, but would only have time to answer 3/4 of the questions. What I eventually had to learn to do was, like ArtemisDea said, pace myself. It also can help if you practice doing timed exercises with several minutes less than you’re actually supposed to get.
