Test Prep

Just was wondering if anyone has feedback regarding the Kaplan course and Princeton Review course. Are they worth the steep fees? Is there any other better course programs out there? Thanks!

I use Testmasters and they have a great program on writing the essay.

Xtra,

Did you take the Testmasters prep course or just use their workbook?

I know that the Kaplan books are not that good. don't know much about the course.

don't do princeton review. It was a bunch of inane classroom hours spent idly going over the same PLUG IN's! and PITA tricks. These tips SUCK for hard math questions and their reading strategy of "getting the gist" didn't help either.

Anyways, I felt bad for my parents b/c i didnt' improve much and I wasted their money. And my princeton review instructor was always late.

What about online courses? College Board, Kaplan, and Princeton Review has them....and I'm pretty self-motivated, so I don't think sticking to the lessons would be too much of a problem. PSAT courses start at $199...any feedback?

Actually, I thought the testmasters course was all right. because the writing eassay was a big help with their formulaic writing it's like plugging words into their sentences. and testmasters say that if you do just what they said, then you should get a perfect score on the essay. seriously. I'm not being sarcastic . There's just some classes on the course more useful than the others. but overall, It's pretty useful. I can give you a code to use... for 25 bucks off. if you want
