Here is my SAT history to this point:

SAT I:
1. 1550
2. 1650

SAT II:
Chemistry: 750
Math Level 2: 700

I'm thinking of applying to Penn early decision and the deadline is November 1st. This only allows for one testing date from now. I want to know if I should retake the SAT I or the SAT II in math. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

SAT-I hands down. Your subject scores are strong but you want your SAT to be 2200+ (out of 2400)

I don’t know about 2200+. I’ve been taking practice tests recently and so far I’m only at1940. Critical Reading:580 Math:760 Writing: 600
I’m pretty sure I can also get an 800 on math level 2 if I retook it because I only answered like 35 questions (I must’ve got them all right though) the first time since I fell asleep during the test.
I’m also not sure if I could possibly do both and get the scores rush delivered. I’ve heard rumors about rush delivery but i’m not sure how to access it or anything.

I’m thinking about majoring in biophysics so I’m worried about the low score on the math SAT II.

It’s pretty simple, 1650 will hurt you very badly for ED, while 700 Math 2 does not. Retake the SAT-I, and work hard on CR and Writing tests.

Agreed with ttparent. Try to get the CR and Writing categories to about 700 range (670-700). That would be a huge boost-up!

ACT! ACT! You don’t need a 2200+, I got in with less than that. It’s helpful, but it won’t kill your app if you don’t have it.

TAKE THE ACT!
