I want to apply to NYU's engineering program. I have a 27 composite ACT score
my math is a 33 and my reading is a 25. I know that in engineering math is obviously much more rigorous compared to reading intensive. Will NYU consider my higher math score and let me slide on my low reading score because of my major?

please helllp!

The 25th percentile of SAT scores at NYU is 1240, which is equivalent to a 27 ACT. It is hard to say whether they would look past your 25 reading as that is below the 25th percentile. Do you have some good SAT IIs to bolster the picture?

If you research the NYU website, I bet you can find the breakdown of admitted students SATs by CR & Math. Good luck.

well will they take the fact that im trying to get into the engineering program into consideration
