Do all test scores go on your high scool transcript? WHat about the ACT, for example. If you take it more than once, do all of those scores go on your transcript? I thought you could pick just the best one to send to colleges?

it doesn't matter if your scores are on your transcript or not because colleges want the official report from collegeboard. to answer your second question, i'm not too sure about the ACT, but for the SAT, all of your scores are sent to colleges see how many times you've taken the test etc...

i know that for the act, only your best score is sent. however, im taking this first test with little prep and i dont want it to show up on my transcript because i plan on a retake!

You need to work with your HS about this issue. It isn't the testing company or the colleges which control what goes on your HS transcript. Please tell the HS that you would prefer that your scores be excluded from your transcript & ask your folks to support you if needed. Good luck!

I haver a pretty good relationship with my GC - hopefully she will understand!

I'm pretty sure some colleges will accept scores from your transcript.. I'm sure some require it from collegeboard but not all. How does one know if they require the scores sent from collegeboard if they do not specify anywhere that scores on your transcript aren't accepted?

can't you just not send these scores to your school?

i already put my school code though, so dont they automatically get sent? is there a way to request them not to send it to my school?

I got my SAT/ACT scores removed. My guidance office had a form I had to get signed by my parents.
