Test scores: which is better?

Which is better?

Sat 3 times (3rd time pointless) superscored: 2150

ACT first: 32 w/writing 29 (I think), second time 30 w/writing 33

Definitely ACT is better. and with the Ivies, it's ALWAYS with writing. So a 33 is NICE!!!

SAT - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I know the conversions...32 ~ 2150 is around the same. BUT which one would be better for me to send?

I mean if I've already sent in my SATs to stanford, would also sending ACTs be worth it, or would it be overdoing it?

150 views and no one has any input?...

send both if they are the same? colleges will like to know you can succeed on both types of test I suppose

So I should send in everything...like 5 tests? They will only look at the best scores, right?

I would send both if I were you, especially since the 33 is nice. And I do believe colleges will only pay attention to your best score, though they'll see all of it, of course...

I don't think that the actual composite score is recalculated? might be totally wrong...

i emailed stanford and they emailed me back. they do not superscore the act in the same way they do the SAT. they take your highest composite score and highest writing and use those scores. you should turn in both SAT and ACT because you really should be taking SAT IIs and in that case you have to send in the SAT I to send in the SAT II

hmm so will Stanford view my 35 composite as a 34(since I got 10 essay)?
