Test worries due to special circumstances...

Hi guys, I was just wondering (and worrying):
do colleges take into consideration how many times you took the SAT/ACT? Due to a long-term disease issue I was only able to take each once. I got a 29 on the ACT and a 2130 on the SAT(thanks to verbal and writing, though). I thought of having my doc write a letter, but my counselor advised against it (didn't want to emphasize my low math score). I agree with his logic, but I'm still concerned.
Any thoughts?

No SAT IIs, either, bc of same reason

Those are both very good scores. Unless you're applying to only the best colleges, I wouldn't worry about it. If anything, you could explain in your essay about your disease in relation to the test scores and how it affects your life in general that could more than make up for these (good) scores.

This list may help you:

thanks for the reassuring reply dahe! I talked extensively about how the disease has affected my life/goals for the future in my common app essay. The hardest school I've applied to is Pomona. That was on a whim and a fancy and I didn't even realize how tough it was to get in until after I applied.
..I'd love to be able to wear flip-flops in the winter, though. :D

thanks Elizabeth...it was tough when I found out earlier that some colleges would have to consider just my "fair" ACT. Oh well, I'm more than the scores, I suppose.
thank you for your quick responses, btw!
