If already sent in my applications and take the ACT tomorrow will the colleges know about it or do I have to send it to them?
You have to send them the scores if you think they will help your application. Be mindful of deadlines, you may have to choose the rush option for scores.
@VegasRoller Thanks for your reply I already sent my applications and my previous scores and got accepted to my 3rd and 2nd choice colleges, but I’m afraid I will get declined from my first choice college which will move me to Regular Decision round, I was thinking that I could use the December ACT as a backup if I somehow Improve, but I do not want the colleges to know that I took it because I might do worst on it. Do you think this is a good idea?
Take the test. If it enhances your first choice application, send the scores (expedited) and let your admissions counselor or contact know that you are sending them ASAP. Upload the student score report to your portal if possible. If the scores are outstanding, see if they impact merit scholarship decisions at choices 2 and 3 and send if they move you into a higher $ category.
