Testing Center Was So Cheap That The Wall Clock Didn't Function

The testing center I attended today was a VERY, VERY old school. Sure, there was a clock in the room that I was situated in. Thing is, the clock was useless!--It didn't work! Looked like a clock back from the 50s if not earlier.

The proctor apologized for the clock not working but said that there was nothing he could do about it. (SERIOUSLY??!!! Good thing I brought my watch.)

You guys wonder if this testing situation is illegal? The clock doesn't work, so we must TRUST the proctor to be honest and fair in the timings. We could have been cheated precious minutes!

Your thoughts... :)

Well, it does say in the instructions to bring a watch of some sort because not all the testing rooms have clocks. But... yeah, that's still a little messed up. :p

lol, of course it's legal, it's just inconvenient. Plus, the proctor is the one collecting your test so of course you have to trust him/her.

I had the same experience. Panic attack on the ACT, didn't affect me that much though.
