Testing for Transfer Students?

Hi all,
I am an incoming freshman (Class of 2012) and would like to transfer to an Ivy League school for my sophomore year. The schools that I currently have in mind are Harvard, Stanford, UChicago, and Colombia - I am only aiming for a few schools. In other words, it's going to be an all-or-nothing kind of thing.
I received a 30 on the ACT the first time I took it (with no studying beforehand) and this managed to get me into Top 30 schools. However, the better schools that I ended up getting into didn't fit me as well as the school that I will be attending later this year, which is in the 50's ranking wise.
I think that my main drawback throughout the whole admission process were my essays - I completed and submitted 21 applications in a matter of TWO WEEKS. Obviously I was overconfident and STUPID. (I'm surprised that I even got into ONE top 30 school). Anyways, it's no good to keep thinking about it now.
I am wondering about the requirements for transfer applicants. Should I study my butt off and take the ACT again? What should I accomplish/do in a year's time that will stand out to college admissions officers? Will having stellar grades during my first year of college be enough to get me into an Ivy League school?
I sincerely need your advice and look forward to your response!!!!
Thank you very much.
