Testing out of language requirement?

Hey guys,
I was just wondering how easy it was to test out of the language requirement. Would you have to be fluent? I'm wondering because I'm planning out my classes, I have a double-major, and wanted more space for other classes during the school year. I found a program in Argentina where I can spend 5 hours a day 5 days a week learning Spanish for 12 weeks in the summer and was wondering if that would be enough, along with high school Spanish, to possibly test out.

Any feedback on the language skills of someone who managed to test out would be appreciated.

Depending on how many years of HS Spanish you have, you might be able to take the SAT Subject test. It sounds like you would need to contact someone at Dornslife to find out the policy on this.

from the link below, one way to place out is:

“scoring on a national or statewide examination at a level set by the department and approved by the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences”
