I’m a student at a community college looking to transfer to a UC… prerequisites for my intended major are math up to calc 2.

Assessment tests won’t put me higher than calc 1 (I have to take calc 1)…

What can I do if I already know math, even up to linear algebra? (learned on my own)

Speak to your college’s math department and ask them about testing out. See if they accept CLEP for Calc I, and if not, ask them if there is another way for you to test out.
