Due to a logistical mess, my daughter went to the wrong SAT test center in May and was denied the chance to take the SAT. She had already been scheduled to take the SAT2 in June, but we switched the registration to the SAT, of course. Her scores came back today (640CR 670M). Since she is considering applying ED, the question is: should she retake the SAT in October to potentially improve her score, or should she try to squeeze the SAT2 in so it could be part of her (possible) ED application? Thanks

@hel2662, SAT Subject tests are not a required part of an application so we always recommend that a student achieves as high as they think they can on the SAT or ACT before taking a subject test. We recommend that unless you hit it out of the park your first time around, try the test a second time. We do superscore the SAT so taking it again cannot hurt you.

Thank you. That was my gut feeling but I’m paranoid about giving her the wrong advice since I’m the one who sent her to the wrong test center in May
I appreciate your help
