Testing Requirement Question

I have a few questions about the Rice application testing requirement. On their website, it states that they want SAT Reasoning and 2 SAT IIs OR ACT plus writing. Does this mean that I am not allowed to send both? Also, does this mean that sending SAT subject tests and ACT plus writing is not allowed?

Thanks in advance.

You can send both the ACT and SAT. You submit all ACT+Writing scores, OR all SAT scores, OR both. You can send your subject tests if you send the ACT.

The only limitation is that ALL SAT scores must be sent. That means your reasoning (if you took it) must be sent with your SAT II scores + ACT.

Are SAT II an absolute requirement for Rice? If I haven’t/can’t take them (international student), am I still required?

As a Chemical/Environmental engineering major, which ones should I consider taking?

Not sure what being international has to do with SAT IIs as they are offered globally much like the SAT.

Per Rice’s website

So, SAT + SAT II or ACT + Writing

or SAT + SAT II + ACT + Writing, correct?

That is correct.
