Testing Standby

So basically I was really stupid/concentrating on APs/not really "on it"... and I forgot to sign up for SAT IIs which I wanted to take in June. Should I do standby testing? I'm not too excited about studying a bunch, getting all nervous, driving to a school at 7:30am and then not getting to take it. How likely is it that I'll get a seat? Should I choose one of the testing centers that didn't fill up as fast?

I don't want to take in the fall b/c I just finished APUSH so it would be best to take SAT II US now. Plus, I want to retake the SAT Is in the fall (it will be my second time taking).

Someone must have experience with this!

Did you see the cautionary note re: high volume for June test?

If you have a choice of test centers, it might be worth your time calling around, asking for the SAT testing admin and finding out their experience/suggestions with standby in June.

Hope it works out for you! Definitely better to take those now than in the fall.

yeah I saw that : |

OK I guess i’ll call then, thanks.
