so some of my friends got the postcard in the mail about taking the tests before ftcap, do these come out at the same time...or depending on when you accepted your offer of admissions. I accepted mine later than they did so will mine be coming in the mail later, or do they all come together?

They come at different times. As soon as you have the opportunity you should take the tests so that they can set you up for FTCAP day. The sooner FTCAP the more choices in courses are available. Many times they will open new courses if certain ones get filled up but it doesn't hurt to be at the beginning. Also once you set up your schedule you will be able to change it if you want to as all courses and remaining seats in each class are on line and seat availability changes all the time. So don't stress too much.

As I recall from last year, the postcard came in early April. If you need to stay overnight the night before, make a hotel reservation right away. Also, make sure you arrive with plenty of extra time (I'd say give yourself an hour before your FTCAP session starts); you'll need to get your student ID picture taken and there are reps from PNC Bank there so you can open a bank account, which also takes time. Those who arrived later had to do those things at lunchtime, which meant they had little time to eat.

FTCAP days are beginning of May until the end of June--In the morning, they go over the results of the Math/English/Chemistry FTCAP tests (that your student takes online) and then in the afternoon you break out to your respective schools to select first semester courses.

i received my post card today with an april 22 deadline. i also wrote and asked if i could do my visit in conjunction with LEAP which I'm going to go to. Haven't heard back yet

S had an April 11th deadline. He did it yesterday, Sunday, April 6th, and it really did take about 3.5 hours. The only think I remember him saying was math was easy for the 1st 55 questions then the next 20 were difficult.
