<p>SAT has three sections: critical reading, math, and writing. It’s scored on a scale of 2400 points. You need to take this or the ACT, which is another standardized test but has a science section and is generally thought to be easier with shorter time constraints, for college admissions. SAT II subject tests test on one subject each and are scored for 800 points. One subject test takes one hour. You need two or three subject test scores to apply to certain colleges.</p>
