Tests

How many times should I take the SAT? I took it once as a sophomore. I am going to take it in January, the last test before the format changes. Then I will take the new test in June so I can have it by Nov for ED.
Does a school have access to all of my past tests? Do I have to enter the code for Columbia on my app, or can I just send my best score later?

A school has access to all of your past SAT I and SAT II tests.

Yeah they'll see all the past scores, but you still need to send your final score to Columbia. Why bother taking it again in January when you're going to be taking the new test? Waste of time and money if you ask me. I'd take some SAT IIs if you think you'd do well enough.

What would you say are the "easiest" SAT II's? I know that's hard, but out of the non-math ones, what do people usually do the best on.
What specifically do I need to know for "Literature"?

Do I have to write Columbia on my SAT app, thus having college board send my scores directly, or can I wait and send copies of my best scores myself?

You have to send your scores from the Collegeboard and they will see all of your scores, not just the ones you think are best.

Literature is known for being one of the hardest SAT II's. It's very subjective. It's similar to the Critical Reading section of the SAT I, but with complex poetry you need to explicate, etc. Writing has a reputation for being fairly easy and US History isn't bad.

What happens if I don't take the test again, and I haven't sent any scores?

Then you need to send your scores.

Is this looked down on?

Is what looked down on??

You need to send your scores. It's not an option.

Is sending the scores after I've taken the test looked down on! How do I send them later. I know ou have to send them through college board, but how do I get the special envelope or whatever to send them in.

No. Calm down. Sending scores is simply paying more money to CB to have them send hard copies of the scores you received to each college.

You don't do anything besides go online, click the schools you want to send the scores to and pay the CB money. They do all the rest.

Seriously tho, calm down.
