I am currently a senior in high school and wondering if I have a decent shot at making it in. I aim to major in Engineering, particularly Civil or Environmental. My sat score was 1160/1600 , GPA is 3.71 (unweighted) and rank is 73 / 588

Because you rank in the 12th percentile of your graduating class, that is a real benefit. However, I would recommend getting your SAT score (or maybe even an ACT score) higher in order to become an academic admit. I assume you have already completed the application and applied as it is important to apply early as well.
