Texas A &M admissions

Hi! So I applied to A&M university right before the deadline and got into blinn for biology. I was wondering if I change my major to something else that I’m interested in, would I be able to get into tamu then? Because I really would rather go to Tamu than blinn.
I’m not sure what I want to be when I grow up so I just put biology and microbiology as a backup but I’m thinking of changing to either teaching or environmental studies.
My sat score was a 1920
And my rank was 73/560
My 6 semester high school gpa was a 3.6 unweighted and I think a 99 weighted (I’m not 100% sure)

No, you are first looked at major-blind to determine which path you’ll be offered (full, gateway, blinn, PSA or denial) then they look to see if there is room in your major (if not, you’ll be asked to pick another major or alternately go to a different acceptance category- like BT).Your acceptance offer would have stated your options if you qualified.

You major doesn’t effect your decision.
