Texas A&M Blinn TEAM or TCU

I’m planning on majoring in Communications as of right now. I was accepted into the Blinn TEAM program at A&M (which I was really surprised about because my grades and test scores were average/ above average for A&M) and accepted to TCU for communications. I have always wanted to go to a large 4-year University like A&M but it wasn’t even my first choice (UT was and I didn’t get in) so I’m not sure if spending a year at a community college would be worth it. As for TCU, I didn’t really think about it very much while awaiting decisions because I applied just to apply. The problems I have with TCU are that it’s small, conservative, and expensive. However, it’s communications program is highly ranked and I DID get full admission so I feel like I should really consider. Any suggestions?

P.S. I’m really thinking about trying to transfer to UT Austin at some point so which would be the best path there?

???

Were you offered CAP at UT? If so, that is the route you should take. If not, go Blinn TEAM as I would not recommend going to an expensive private university if transferring is your ultimate objective. Who knows, you may even like College Station enough to stay there.
