I want to major in Pre-Med Psychology and Minor in Criminal Justice, Criminology or Forensics.
I want to be a Forensic Psychiatrist or Forensic Pathologist one day.

Which is a better academic choice? And, if anybody knows...which school has better dorms?

I am currently a doctoral student at Texas A&M University-Commerce (TAMUC) having recently earned my Masters of Science in Applied Psychology. I know of several fellow students who have taken forensic classes as undergraduates and who are interested in pursuing a career in forensics. TAMUC offers terrific programs in psychology and forensics also employs a seasoned professor who’s been working in forensic psychology for several years. This particular professor also supervises the onsite Community Counseling and Psychology Clinic where students of TAMUC can complete their practicum requirements as required by the Master’s program. The advantage to this is having regular access to someone in the field with over 30 years experience. TAMUC offers a smaller class size allowing for more access to the professors and administrators with more opportunities to participate in the many school based organizations. While I do not have any personal experience with the dorms, I’ve never heard any negative comments from my peers. TAMUC is currently undergoing many upgrades that employ the most current technologies to benefit the student body.
