Texas A&M Engineering Questions

Howdy, I'm thinking about going into engineering at a&m. I am concerned about going there because of the size. I go to a small high school now focused on discussion based learning. I find that I learn best this way. I got accepted to the University Honors program if anyone has input on that. Here are my questions

How is the general discussion based learning of the classes

How hands on is the program

Is there focus on learning communication skills? I'm pretty verbal and see myself as like a middle man between engineers and business people. I'd like to have a business focus (and am willing to take real classes instead of meaningless electives)

How much room is there to take other classes for fun?

(For the honors) Would it be hard to keep a 3.5?

(in general for the school) how flexible are the majors? I have wanted to do engineering since a young child (family connection) but am still worried about wanting to change majors. I fear that switching majors would mean I wouldn't graduate in 4 years. How easy is it to get a taste of other majors specifically within engineering?

I'm deciding between Trinity University (which has a business focused, liberal arts engineering program with small classes) and A&M which is more well known and naturally has the stronger program. If you have any more tips or information that could help me make a choice I would love to hear from you!

Thanks!!
