Hey guys I got my accecptance letter from Texas A&M today! The only thing is, it listed my major as applied mathematics etc. I believe that I listed Computer Science as my first or one of my majors (I don't recall the application process too well), does this mean they won't take me into a computer science major?

Thank you for whoever responds?

Also, sorry for the brevity/details left out/poor grammar; I am just in a hurry and wanted to get this thread posted before I leave.

^You should post this on the Texas A&M forum, owen. You’ll have better luck getting responses there. Not that there’s anything wrong with posting it here … you’ll just get more/better responses there, I think.

if you want to change your major, you need to file a petition and get approved by the dean of engineering, good luck …

computer science is usually the hardest major to get in, they don’t want every one to apply as an English major (just an example) and pull a switcheroo, it is not fair to those that apply for computer science major …
