<p>I am international students and I would like to study chemicial engineering.
My GPA is 3.9
My SAT score is (1570 total-1120 without writing)
IELTS : 7.0 overall</p>

<ul>
<li>: leadership skills---> officer in my country's millitary.Next July I would be 2nd Lieutenant.
Parents Income : $40000 about
So chance me for Texas A&M or Purdue University
1) what chances I have to be accepted ?
2) Do I have any chance for aid/scholar?</li>

<p>You will get into ethier one of them ED i think. If you can, bring the SAT scores up because your GPA is definitely not reflected in your SAT scores.</p>

<p>I will not be able to take SAT another time…this is the “problem” :S</p>

<p>Texas A&M:

  1. Low reach, your SAT is below their 25% mark and being an international makes it even more difficult to get acceptance.
  2. I am unsure of their financial aid policies for international but I doubt you would get any merit aid.</p>

<p>Purdue:

  1. High match, SAT is low but still in their range but again you are international and that hurts you if you can’t pay full ecspecially.
  2. Same as Texas A&M</p>

<p>I sent my GPA and a few things about me to Purdue Universty. Their answer was quite possitive, they only told to get IELTS 6.5 +…I could not find anything about aid in their site(for International students) but according to college board they give …</p>

<p>Well A&M says automatic admission for Freshman( International Students i guess also its the same link ) for students that they are ranked in the top quarter of their graduating class …
I could not find anything specific about aid either</p>

<p>Safty School is a school that you will certainly get into. A fallback in case you dont get into the school you want to.</p>

<p>A&M Automatic Admission is only for Texas students I think, and you also have to have a math + critical reading score above 1200.</p>
