<p>My friend was a review admit who was just accepted today. He had a 1190 math +reading and was ranked 13/82 (top 16%).</p>
<p>I was also admitted today, but I was an automatic admit for my October 26 ACT scores.</p>

<p>itscole - No, I have received nothing from FinAid yet. I check the FinAid portal and it shows they have all of my documents, but nothing in the awards yet.</p>

Does anyone know when the international graduate admission decisions is announced? I am still waiting and checking regularly AIS. The last day will be on 30 November according to the website. It is so exciting…</p>

<p>Idson123 - Not sure either, but I am very anxious. I have read on here or somewhere that they would send us information by first week of December, but not sure how accurate that is.</p>
<p>@mtreys, Yep, it was me who said that they will release information in the first week of December; they told me that. However, I still don’t get why they have to take so long. I already got my fin aid offer from UT, and I am tired of waiting before I take my next step.</p>
<p>I think you have to cancel your aid at your current school in order to receive your award letter.</p>

<p>wow, yeah a guy in admission (through texags.com) had told me a few weeks ago that everyone should hear back by Thanksgiving at the latest, i would give the college you applied to a call and ask them whats going on</p>
<p>I just got pell grant from financial aid, no loans, no scholarships (and I applied for those). I can’t understand why they did not give me any loan when UT is giving me loans. Anyway, thats the end for me; i won’t be able to attend TAMU. Hope, you guys get good aid</p>
<p>Idson123 - I’d wait if you could. Pell grants are usually the first thing to post to accounts, then loans come later. That’s how it is at Blinn anyways. You should call and ask that all you are eligible for is grants, however, I know of no student who has been denied loans, even if they receive grants. Loans are need-based, so from my understanding everyone is eligible for loans.</p>
