What is it like to be a student at TAMUG? I know you are officially a student of TAMU in College Station, but is the experience the same? Is there the same SEC atmosphere? is it possible to attend all the yell practices and football games?
Galveston is small but a very fun vibe being on the beach. I believe there is a bus that will take you to Tamu cstat for games. It’s about 1.5-2 hours away.
Many students start at Galveston and end up staying because they fall in love with it.
Is the cultural atmosphere at TAMUG more similar to UT since Galveston is near Houston? Or is it more traditional like College Station?
It’s nothing like UT. Galveston is an island. Very removed from Houston. They have the corps and traditions.
