<p>Not very good extra-curriculars I know, but I plan on doing the optional essay, and having 2 very good recommendation letters. Also I will be applying early, and to Mays business school, if you offer any insight on that.</p>
<p>If you are a Texas resident you can still manage to qualify for automatic academic admit. With a top 25% rank you need SAT 1300 CR + M with a subscore of at least 600 in each. </p>
<p>Automatic admits make up a very large portion of TAMU admits. Hence, your chances go way down in holistic review. Besides, your current SAT is closer to the 25th percentile of admits than the 75th percentile.</p>
