<p>Is Texas and Texas a&m good programs for engineering particularly civil engineering? Any other information pertaining to this subject is greatly appreciated!!!!!</p>

<p>I don’t care much about the rankings I want to know about the actual classes and stuff are they really good what actually puts it above many others.</p>
<p>The accreditation boards make sure that engineering curriculums are fairly similar from one school to another. But at a school like UT, you’ll usually find nicer facilities, more prestigious faculties, better job placement, and more competitive student bodies.</p>
<p>I think UT’s facilities are gold plated. :p</p>
<p>The money they received from PUF went mostly into buildings since they were not allowed to spend much on anything else during 70s.</p>
