Schools:
Rice Interim Decision
University of Texas - Austin
Trinity University
Baylor University
Texas A&M University <- do they really have auto-admit for 1300+ SATs?

Thanks in advance!

Rice University - possible match
UT Austin - possible match
Trinity University - match
Baylor University - match
Texas A&M University - match

Texas A&M is a match? I'm sorry but do you live in Texas?

Which school do you go to? Bellaire? Clements? Dulles?

I live in Texas, and you might be screwed at UT Austin b/c of 10% rule. So make sure you write awesome essays and perhaps get a few rec letters, send resume, etc.

This might sound dumb, but i think you have a better shot at Rice lol.

I'm also from Texas, and you're in at all of them no prob with the exception of rice.

Kids at my school get into UT-Austin w/out being in the top 10% all the time. In fact, I think most of the kids that end up going to UT AREN'T in the top 10%.

Thanks.. bump!

Nakane, what major are you looking at? And are you gonna apply for special honors programs?

I am looking at Cellular & Molecular Biology in the CAS.. I was first looking at the Plan II program but I realized it's very unrealistic. Do you think I have a strong chance in the CAS?
