We reside in a small town 10 miles from the Texas border. Thirteen years ago our oldest daughter attended TAMU, At that time, we purchased a home in College Station. We have been renting out the house in TX for the last ten years.
Our youngest daughter has been accepted to TAMU. Is there any way that we can use the ownership of our property in. Ollege Station to establish residency for our daughter in Texas? She is living in the dorm her freshman year but will be moving into our house next year.
Have you checked to see if TAMU accepts neighboring counties to the state border as “in state?” I know some Texas schools have done so in the past.
